The Avaya 5410 phone is designed for executive users, having a clear 5 line by 54 character display and a dedicated messages button to collect voicemail. Since it is specific to the IP Office platform, the Avaya 5410 does not have the additional cost incurred to make it compatible with Communication Manager and is therefore slightly lower priced that the 2410 model, the equivalent cross-platform digital model.
The Avaya 5410 has 10 fixed feature buttons including conference, headset, transfer, drop, redial, speaker, hold, mute, volume up & volume down. The 5410 phone has 12 programmable feature buttons and a two-way handsfree speaker and microphone. Fully hearing aid compatible, the message waiting indicator is also used as the ringing call alert indicator and the phone is able to use 8 personalised ring patterns. Embedded applications include speed dial (48) and call log (missed, incoming, outgoing), and the phone also has fully upgradeable firmware. The Avaya 5410 comes in a multi-grey colour scheme, is desk or wall mountable and an adjustable desk stand is supplied with phone.
