Mitel 3300 Direct Station Select/Busy Lamp Field (DSS/BLF) allows the status of a directory number to appear on the line status indicator of a telephone or Programmable Key Module.

The monitored device may be on the same system or another system within the same cluster. The key associated with the busy lamp acts as a Direct Station Selection (DSS) key.
