Camp-on (Call Waiting) Allows you to notify a busy party that you are waiting. An attendant may also put a call through to a busy station to indicate that a call is waiting. Upon hearing the Call Waiting tone, the busy party can either respond or finish the current call. Camp-on Tone Security Prevents you from hearing Camp-on tone. If any party in a call has this option enabled, no Camp-on tone is sent to anyone in the call.
While the call is on hold, you can use the other telephone features. The call can be retrieved either at the original answer point or at another extension.
