With Call-by-Call Service, access channels do not have to be dedicated to specific services such as OUTWATS or 800 services.

It also allows a business with calling peaks to dynamically allocate coverage across channels so that access lines are optimized. This implementation ensures that incoming calls are not turned away because all incoming channels are busy while adjacent outgoing channels are idle.
