When Tai Ping Carpets a custom carpet and rug company wanted to set-up a UK operation within the prestigious grounds of Chelsea Harbour they approached our Harbour based business partners Heston Apex Communications.
Heston Apex Communications the Harbours cable and fibre infrastructure specialists implemented a full and expandable cable network to the Tai Ping offices allowing Telefonix to implement an advanced IT and Telephony solution in line with their requirements and expectations.
Tai Ping is a custom carpet and rug company that operates around the world from LA to Hong Kong. The company has created rugs that are increasingly sought after for luxurious and prestigious interiors – from hotels and casinos to Park Avenue residences, private jets and yachts. With a new office opening in Chelsea Harbour, London Tai Ping needed a complete technology infrastructure including internet access, IT and telephony to support all areas of operations.
Although the team initially consisted of only nine employees they needed a wide range of functionality. Designers required a high end, split screen pc-based design solution for creating interior flooring for clients. These then linked to a central office server that provided backup and managed all office admin activity including email. The telephony systems needed to be easy to use and cost effective but also have the flexibility and power to link Tai Ping sites from around the world on conference calls.
