The Avaya Communication Manager 1603 handset is designed for locations such as lobbies or stockrooms in which people who use it desire simple phone use.  It can also provide a profficient level of applications to be used by everyday users, but not someone who relies on the phone as an integral part of their job.  The 2 line by 16 character display supports 3 line appearances or feature keys. 

The Avaya 1603 IP Phone is currently only compatible with the Avaya Communication Manager platform. However, we are pleased to announce that the whole Avaya 1600 range will soon be available on IP Office 4.2.
