With the Avaya IP Office Small Office Edition Embedded Voicemail makes use of the voice compression resources to optimize the message storage by compressing messages before storing, and expanding them during playback. By doing this up to 10 hours of messages can be stored for all users of the system. Neither the Avaya IP Office IP500 nor the Avaya IP Office IP406 V2 require voice compression modules for storing messages and both support up to 15 hours of storage.
