Avaya IP Office Phones

The addition of IP Office phones to the base IP Office system is crucial to experience the full range of functionality of the system. These phones are custom created to make the most of the inbuilt functionality and are the perfect business tool to help an employee make the most of their phone system.

Each of the phone ranges has a different purpose within the Avaya family, from the premium quality 9600 series to the budget-conscious 1400 series, and from the DECT (wireless) units of the 3700 series to the IP-office only 5400 and 5600 series. However, common to all ranges is their low power usage, solid construction, customisable soft buttons (not all models, ie not the hotel phone) and exceptionally clear sound quality.

The 9600 series is the premium IP Office range, which also has inbuilt compatibility with Avaya Communication Manager

Operating on both IP Office and Communication Manager, the 1600 series is the budget-conscious choice which foregoes digital labels for paper labels.

The 4600 series was the original IP series of phones for IP Office when it was first introduced. This is an Avaya Communications Manager phone which also works on IP Office.

The 5400 series is an IP Office-specific digital phone series, and lacking the functionality to operate on Avaya Communication Manager, comes in at a lower price than the 2400 series on which it is based.

The 5600 series is an IP Office-specific IP phone series, and lacking the functionality to operate on Avaya Communication Manager, comes in at a lower price than the 4600 series on which it is based.

The 3700 Series is the IP DECT (wireless/WiFi) phone series for the IP Office platform designed for office locations.

The 3600 Series is the more rugged wireless phone series for the IP Office platform, which includes specialised models for healthcare and industrial locations.

Avaya also does a specialty hotel phone with the IP Office platform, the Voyager 9281

Various Polycom conferencing phones are also compatible with the IP Office platform; our preferred model being the Polycom Soundstation 2EX
