Avaya 5410 Phone Using Speed Dial

This FAQ covers using the speed dial functionality of the Avaya 5410 Phone. For more information, please see:

Using Speed Dial

Your Avaya 5410 can store up to 48 personal speed dials. The list of these speed dials is accessed by pressing the SpDial button. If no SpDial button is shown, press any of the four oval buttons immediately below the display.

  • The speed dial list is sorted alphabetically
  • Press the larger arrow buttons to move between pages
  • You can also key the first letter of the required name to jump to the page with a matching entry
  • Press the buttons next to the entries on the display to call the associated number
  • Speed dials can be used for any numbers that can be manually dialed from the extension. Where a dialing prefix is required (for example a an external line access digit; usually 9) then that prefix must be part of the speed dial number.
  • The four oval buttons immediately below the display are known as "soft keys" and have options to perform other actions. You can use these to add, edit or delete
