Avaya 1716
The Avaya 1716 is a new phone due to be released by Avaya in 2008. Avaya 1703 features are provisionally expected to be as detailed below. The Avaya 1716 is expected to be designed for users who spend the majority of their day on the phone and for whom voice communication is an integral part of their job. The 4 line by 24 character display supports 16 line appearances or feature keys.
The Avaya 1716 handset also supports Avaya wired and wireless headsets through an integrated headset jack.
The Avaya 1716 display has an adjustable viewing angle and displays additional caller related information to ease call handling.
The Avaya 1716 is compatible with a 32 button expansion module that provides an additional 48 feature keys or speed dial buttons.
The Avaya 1716 IP Phone is currently only compatible with the Avaya Communication Manager platform. However, we are pleased to announce that the whole Avaya 1600 range will soon be available on IP Office 4.2.
