Avaya IP Office 4.2
Avaya IP Office 4.2 is the latest version of Avaya's IP Office software, and incorporates important mobility and productivity enhancements, as well as adding a low cost range of IP phones to bring IP telephony within any business' reach. Launched in August 2008, full details of the release are available in this Avaya IP Office 4.2 Manual, and we have also created a one-page summary of the business advantages.
Mobility Enhancements:
- Mobile twinning: simultaneous ringing of office desktop phone and external device (works with any device e.g. mobile or home phone)
- Includes Remote Call control, transfer, conference, hold, etc
- Improved support for Avaya one-X Mobile
- Works with any device supporting one-X client e.g. Nokia Symbian or Windows Mobile.
- One Number service means that customer relationship stays with office number (not mobile number) should employee leave to competitor (e.g. estate agent).
- One-Number-Service also for Outgoing Calls
- Active Call Controls
