Avaya Interactive Voice Response is a tool that creates automated customised systems to meet individual business needs.
These systems allow callers to interact with business information remotely, allowing individuals access to reading email, account enquiry systems, automated ordering systems, ticket purchasing systems, PIN number checking and remote time sheet management.
Where Text-to-Speech participates in this system by providing the capability of accessing services such as email over the telephone, IVR essentially provides a voice to text service recognising spoken answers instead of just keyed entries.
IVR interacts solely with Voicemail Pro, and is not compatible with any other Voicemail applications.
