VOIP Telephone Systems

Avaya Gold Business Partner: Telefonix

VOIP Telephone Systems, or 'Voice Over IP' phone systems are known as IP systems within Avaya. Avaya's IP systems range from small office systems to company-wide systems. Avaya's IP systems are used by locations and companies throughout the UK, from L'Oreal to the Royal Albert Hall, and from 118-118 to the NHS. Not only do Avaya IP systems come with all the features you'd expect from a modern telephone system, but the thing that differentiates an Avaya PBX from most is the depth and breadth of Avaya software which brings with it - extra functionality that no other telephone systems can match.

Our Systems

  • Avaya IP 500 is our most popular telephone system. IP500 Standard Edition supports up to 32 extensions. The Professional Edition IP 500 supports up to 272 extensions. This system is ideal as a SOHO PBX or a small business PBX; by incorporating everything from on-hold music to follow-me numbers to extension routing a small office can appear to be a much larger company.
  • The Multivantage system is a mid-sized System for anything between 100 to 500 users. This System is for mid-size companies and is a budget version of the Communication manager system below, using the same central PBX switch.
  • The Avaya Communications Manager PBX System scales from less than 100 users to as many as 36,000 on a single system, and to more than one million users on a network. This system is the most realistic solution for 500+ users.

Why Use IP Systems?

  • IP phone systems usually means cost savings, by using a single network to carry both voice and data. Most companies have underused network capacity which can carry VOIP at no extra cost
  • IP phone systems carry their phone signals as digital data, usually reduced in data rate using various speech data compression techniques
  • IP enables tasks and provides services that are more difficult to implement or more expensive using non-VOIP Systems
  • IP Phone systems are able to transmit more than one telephone call over the same broadband connection, making VOIP a simple way to add an extra telephone line to a home or office
  • Conference calling, call forwarding, automatic redial, and caller ID; zero- or near-zero-cost VOIP features that traditional telecommunication systems charge extra for
  • IP phone systems enable advanced telephony features such as call routing and screen pops. The fact that the phone call is on the same data network as a user's PC opens a new door to possibilities
