Auto Attendant is software which allows system administrators to create an interactive menu system. It is a multi level configuration tool based on telephone key entry, or voice recognition software.
Each Auto Attendant can be built and configured to meet individual business needs. An Auto Attendant can be used as a backup for a regular operator when call volumes are high, while others can be designed to serve as an independent operating system. Auto Attendant can prompt callers to enter different key entries for Support, Sales or Administration and then forward the call straight through to the designated Hunt Group.
Auto Attendants are available with Embedded Voicemail and Voicemail Pro. Embedded Voicemail provides the administrator with 4 independent Auto Attendants, with 12 menu items per Auto Attendant. Voicemail Pro provides dial by name and Text-to-Speech enhanced Auto Attendant capabilities.
