The Avaya 9670G is a media phone, a cross between a telephone and PC, allowing direct access to applications and Internet-based information through a large color touch screen with a high-quality phone.
The Avaya 9670G media phone is similar in concept and use to popular mobile devices, with a large, color home screen that provides one-touch access to people, information and tools.
Features of the Avaya 9670 media phone include VoIP calling, digital picture frames, WiFi (News - Alert)-enabled BB basestations and visual voice mail, e-mail and call logs.
The Avaya 9670G Phone is only compatable with the Avaya Communication Manager platform which incorporates the Multivantage Express (MVE), now renamed as Avaya Communication Manager Lite. It cannot be used with any of the Avaya IP Office range of business phone systems.
