Project Management

For every phone system that Telefonix installs, full project management of your install with Avaya-qualified staff is simply standard and included as part of the package. This level of guidance before, throughout and after the project is one of the key features which differentiates us, and means you're never lost without expertise to call on by just picking up the phone.

Single Point Of Contact

Your project manager is your 24/7 port of call for all matters between Telefonix and yourselves throughout your install. You'll have a close working relationship with trust and confidence.

Third Party Liaison

We'll deal with any third parties involved in the project on your behalf (ie BT) to ensure that the correct timescales and order of tasks are managed. This will include existing network suppliers or building contractors. Since we do cabling and IT ourselves anyway, you'll have less outside contractors to deal with than with a regular telecoms-only company.

The Project Plan

This details all key tasks and milestones within the project. This plan will ensure everyone understands the project and what their responsibilities are within it. This will be updated regularly by our project manager who will also attend project meetings to discuss progress and resolve any project issues that might arise.

Project Changes

Human reality is that all projects change during their lifespan in some manner. Such changes will be dealt with and logged accordingly; and can be raised by anyone involved.

Site Survey

A site survey is carried out, regardless, to ascertain the need for new cabling or whether the existing infrastructure can be utilised. Site surveys produce plans of action.

Scheduling

We will contact you to arrange timings for installation so that orders for equipment and collection of system programming data are scheduled in advance to allow telefonix to build and pre-programme system.

Testing

All systems are pre-tested in-house prior to delivery, tested on site before going live and backed up by guarantees.

Training

Some users of a new system may need or request training and for those who do, our project managers can co-ordinate a timetable that may involve on-site courses or specialist tuition in our in-house training centre.

Handover

We will jointly sign off the project on the final day of installation with an appropriate review period put in place.

Ongoing Support

We will continue to provide information on any new hardware and software and to advise on moves, alterations or extensions to ensure your system is always up-to-date. If ever there's an issue you can just call our 24/7 support desk, manned by Avaya qualified staff. We are one of very few companies that offer such a feature!
