The door release mechanism on the unit consists of two relays which can be either normally open, normally closed, pulsed open or pulsed closed. The External Control Port relays are used to trigger/control purpose built Door Release equipment which is supplied by a third party. All that needs to be done is to wire the trigger/control output of the third party device to the appropriate External Control port pins, ensuring that the information given in Section 13, Appendix C, Technical Specification is followed. The relay action is activated by use of a short code and via Phone Manager Pro.
